Negative feelings and emotions make your life miserable if you haven’t overcome them soon. These feelings make your mind, body and soul overall unhealthy.
1. Breath Deeply
It make your mind calm and relaxed and lessens your stress level.
2. Start Reading
Read a book, magazine, inspirational quotes or articles that may help you to come out of negative feelings.
3. Start Writing
Write in journal what makes you negative i.e. all your negative thoughts or write whatever comes to your mind. Write about things that you love about yourself or things that you are thankful for.
4. Go outside
Go for walk or sit in a park for some time and observe the nature.
5. Watch and listen
Watch your favorite movie, show, play whatever you like to watch, whether to see videos full of fun and humor. Listen music that make you feel pleasant.
6. Keep a mood journal
Write about your thoughts, feelings, emotions in a journal everyday. Grade them as positive or negative. Review them, find reasons for that specific feelings. If negative, than plan a strategy to overcome them.
7. Socialize
Meet with your friends or family members or call them. Listen them or share with them your feelings.
8. Create something
Draw or paint something or cook something new or do something creative.
9. Mediation and Mindfulness
Mindfulness helps you to deal with your emotions. So practice mindfulness with 1-minute exercises.
10. Positive affirmations
Replace your negative thoughts with positive affirmations. Start repeating them.

Today many are marked by economic hardship, pervasive violence, and injustice. Resulting in , countless people are plagued by overwhelming sadness, guilt, and a sense of personal worthlessness.
Such feelings can be dangerous. They may undermine our confidence, paralyze our ability to reason, and rob us of joy. One of my favorite passage at Proverbs 34:10 raises a question: “Have you shown yourself discouraged in the day of distress? Your power will be scanty.”
We need our power, our energy, in order to keep going in this troubled world. Therefore, it is essential to keep negative feelings under control.
